Idriss’s career path, spanning 20 years of construction sites in Libya, Nigeria, Benin, Qatar, Tunisia, Russia and then England, illustrates this well. At Isle of Grain LNG, he oversaw the construction of the internal metal structure of a cryogenic tank, after several months of preparation to select the right subcontractor.

His daily routine takes place on site: safety briefings, HSE inspections, 8 a.m. meetings with the client and coordination with quality, civil engineering and contracts. 📢 “After 20 years in the field, you learn as much from your colleagues as you do from engineers.” This sentence sums up the spirit of the profession: high standards, a sense of teamwork and continuous improvement. 💡
